Rated 1 out of 5 by Tom B from Poor product I have used Oster products for over thirty years. The last five have been a disaster. Just received a new Turbo A5. My Oster blades will not fit / load on the running clipper. It's not like I haven't done this for years! The last three sets of new Oster blades have come out of your packaging and have not cut well. Blades cleaned and properly lubed but only POOR performance. I thought it was just me until I asked for feedback on pet grooming FB pages. I'm not alone. Purchased a new A5 figuring my current one was wearing out, despite proper lubing. All my A5s have overheated far too quickly. Looking for a new product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RetiredMarine from Comfortable grip. Lightweight. Easy to Handle! Not sure why this product received negative reviews. I have owned this product for over 7 years and it has done an excellent job in cutting all four of my Cocker Spaniels ... at which it is utilized a minimum of twice a year. I am just now having to send my old blades in for sharpening and looking to purchase additional blades for back up. My ONLY experience with any type of overheating (on the blade only), is when I have it on for over an hour or more because I've waited too long in between their haircuts and have to deal with longer hair. Given the cost to take them all to a groomer, this Oster Professional Clipper has more than paid for itself over time ... again and again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by frankie from Continued Maintenance I purchased this product from a local merchant approximately 5-6 years ago. Two years ago I began experiencing a problem with the cutting head moving forward some and loosing contact with the oscillating driver and therefore ceasing its cutting capability. I sent it off to the service center in Salt Lake City area for the problem. I included a detailed letter identifying the problem with specific part numbers listed that needed replacing or given attention to. The clipper was returned but not properly fixed with one broken part not replaced. Due to timing of cutting the dog’s coat, the repair warranty had expired. The clippers would run properly on an intermittent basis. This morning, 7/5/17, we attempted to cut our long haired dog and the head exemplifed the same original problem of losing its cutting ability due to moving forward slightly. I am in the process of sending it back for service but am hesitant to return it to the center that neglected to correct the original issue. I noticed about a year ago the merchant where this product was originally purchased no longer carries the Oster brand. I can't help but suspect it was due to performance issues like mine. Your attention to this can only help this products reputation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Thea from Sorry I bought I bought this turbo 2 speed clipper a yr ago. The blade constantly lifts making it impossible to cut through hair. I have had no luck w/ Oster customer service as it appears interested in assisting. I do not recommend Oster turbo 2 speed in addition it over heats quickly & the grip gets extremely hot

Rated 1 out of 5 by NebrakanFarmMom from Mine are TERRIBLE! First cut in July went great but I noticed that they got pretty warm. 2nd and 3rd use, I noticed that they were almost too hot to touch within 5 mins and vibrated loudly. Well, last month they sent me screws to replace the blade holder thing bc they kept vibrating put. Now my blades keep popping off! I'm sure I just need a new pair but they are only 6 months old and have been used FIVE TIMES!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Camsmith from Worked Great, until it didn't... So I ponied up the extra cash to save myself from having to pay $50 a cut for our dog thinking that it would be a good long term investment. After about 4 cuts, the blade started struggling to get through his fur that it had cut through like butter previously. Now, it was taking 2-3 times as long to do a streaky looking patchy job. Basically, I have a pricy buzzer that doesn't do what I bought it to do... Could have paid someone and saved myself the time and hassle!!
